The Tschuggen Grand Hotel, an Alpine hideaway, is located on the mountainside on the edge of the Arosa Forest.
Unique – Hotel guests at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel have exclusive use of the hotel’s own Tschuggen Express, a private mountain railroad. The Tschuggen Express takes guests to the middle station of the Arosa Lenzerheide ski paradise in just four minutes.
From there, a short walk leads to the Tschuggen mountain lodge. The famous Arosa Humorfestival takes place next to this mountain lodge every year. Many comedians don’t miss out on performing in front of this mountain backdrop in the specially erected tent.
A special highlight is the “Arosa Humor Festival Soirée”, which is offered every year in the large Grand Restaurant of the Tschuggen Hotel. At the “Soirée”, guests enjoy a fine 4-course menu while their laughing muscles are put to the test by the comedian stars.

Guests can enjoy the Grand Restaurant, the restaurant “The Basement”, the gourmet restaurant “La Brezza”, which has been awarded 2 Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points, as well as the bar in the large hotel lobby. In the gourmet restaurant “La Brezza”, chef Marco Campanella treats his guests to newly interpreted dishes from traditional Swiss and Italian cuisine.
The restaurant “The Basement”, which opened this year, aims to spoil hotel guests with dishes from “grandmother’s kitchen with a pinch of modern cuisine”.

The “Grand Restaurant“ shines in new splendor this winter. Thanks to a new, extended window front, guests can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alpine panorama at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Interior designer Carlo Rampazzi played a key role in the renovation of the Grand Restaurant. For example, to match the beautiful and opulent old Murano chandeliers, he had 14 more Murano chandeliers made in Venice on the island of Murano, which now adorn the ceiling of the hall. Carlo Rampazzi has thus given the Grand Restaurant a special touch.
The hotel has 128 rooms, 34 of which are junior suites and suites. The south-facing, spacious suites each offer two sun loggias. From these suites you can enjoy a spectacular view over the vast mountain panorama of Arosa!
