For art lovers, a visit to the museum building built by Frank Gehry is an absolute must. The building was designed and built by Frank Gehry.
On display was the exhibition Monet – Mitchell. Pictures of two great painters of the 20th century were shown. Claude Monet, who helped establish Impressionism. His famous landscape paintings like the Water Lily Pond are world famous.
Joan Mitchell, an American woman who is a leading artist of abstract expressionism. Both artists show landscapes – the juxtaposition creates a link between modern and contemporary art.
